 Where to find the portal?

In corp network, go to http://give. You’ll see a page like this. Click “Go to My Giving Portal”.

Outside of corp network, you can go to https://microsoft.benevity.org/ directly. You should finally land on a page like this:

How can I donate to USTCIF and ask for a match?

You can ask Microsoft to match your donation in two ways: HOURS or MONEY.

For each volunteer hour that you did for USTCIF, Microsoft will match $25. For each dollar that you donated to USTCIF, Microsoft will match the same amount, both up to the annual limit. The donation matching limit is $15,000 per year for FTEs and $1,000 for Interns. Always visit http://give for details.

Steps to donate to USTCIF

-Go to Microsoft give portal

-Click search, and enter “UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CHINA INITIATIVE FOU”

-Click on the cause

-Click DONATE NOW to donate money to USTCIF using PayPal or Credit Card. Your donation will be matched automatically.

-Click REQUEST A MATCH if you have donated money to USTCIF elsewhere and want to ask for a match.

-Click TRACK TIME if you have done volunteers for USTCIF and want to ask for a match.

-Click FAVORITE to save USTCIF as your favorite cause.

 

Note that we currently do not have a lot of volunteer opportunities for USTC in Seattle area. We are looking to do more to help USTC.
