Designed to address the demands of a global economy, the Finance Track of our PhD in Business Administration aims to develop business leaders by facilitating partnerships between students and mentor-practitioners who play an integral part in the students’ PhD research. The College of Management is located in Boston, a center of the global financial and high-tech sectors – and an ideal spot for students to pursue internships with established business leaders.

Our curriculum is grounded in both accounting and finance, a combination critical to a thorough understanding of today’s business environments and governance standards. The pro-gram’s small size allows for individualized attention to students while ensuring engagement of both finance and accounting faculty. We are unique in that we help students bridge the gap between successful research and effective teaching: Opportuni-ties to teach ensure that students pursuing an academic career graduate ready for the demands of the classroom.

Accepted students are eligible for PhD Fellowships, which include full tuition and fee waivers and an annual stipend of $25,000 for the first three years.
