Project Engineer

Seeking a mechanical engineer, with experience designing metallic components for the automotive industry. Mandarin and English required.

Location: Metro-Detroit, MI Main Responsibilities

§ Manages multiple part numbersduring design and development phase.

§ ChecksCAD data and product drawings to verify all customer specifications and requirements being met and all changes documented.

§ Participates in design review meetings and presents solutions to OE customers.

§ Maintains all drawings and design-related documents.

§ Tracks testing results and engineering changes.

§ Reviews PPAP documentation against OE customer and industry requirements to ensure compliance.

§ Acts as a technical liaison between American OE customers and Chinese suppliers.

Qualifications

§ BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.

§ Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin

§ At least 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in the design of metallic parts.

§ Experience completing and/or reviewingPPAP packages preferred.

§ Experience with a Tier 1 supplier in the auto industry is a plus.
