We sincerely believe you would enjoy a great time with other alumni and their families at this year’s USTC Alumni Association in Greater New York 2014 Lantern Festival Gathering, which will be hosted at the DoubleTree Hotel in Fort Lee, New Jersey, on Feb 16th, 2014.

All USTCers in the Greater New York area, your families and significant others are cordially invited! It is also an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new friends. Please help us spread the words and communicate to your USTC friends who might not be on this mailing list.

As a tradition, we will also have a few special guests who excel in their own fields to give intriguing and inspiring speeches. This year we are honored to have Dr. DU Yunson and Dr. MA Jun as the speakers for this coming gathering. Below please find their brief bio.

Dr. DU Yunson

Dr. Du is the head of Global Fixed-Income at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. His topic is “Surviving Turbulent Markets”.

Dr. MA Jun

Dr. Ma is the CEO of Vasomedical. His topic is about entrepreneurship and health care industry overview.

1) By car and parking – The hotel provides complimentary parking for this event.

2) By public transportation – Multiple buses are running between Fort Lee <=> NYC and Fort Lee <=> Newport. Bus lines vary depending on where you leave from. Please check Google Map for details.

3) Free shuttle service from Washington Bridge Plaza to the hotel:

If you take bus from NYC, please get off at the stop of Washington Bridge Plaza. The hotel provides a shuttle service between this stop and the hotel. Please call 201-461-9000 to request the service.

* Walk-ins are subject to high surcharges ($60) since it will significantly increase our expenses due to underestimated headcount.
